1.) A referral from your assigned PCM on post;
NOTE: You must provide your PCM a reason for your need to seek services from a provider that is Out-of-Network. Possible reasons may include:
- Inability to locate an In-Network Provider in the area that offers the services you need;
- For continuity of care (to continue receiving care from a provider that you've already established care with.)
OR
2.) Use Point-of-Service Benefits, if you choose services without a referral from your assigned PCM.
NOTE: Please verify with your Tricare benefits representative as stipulations may apply (e.g. need to meet a deductible and cost sharing portion such as a co-pay or co-insurance).
Helpful Information About Service Coverage:
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
I recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
Good Faith Estimate
Clients who do not have insurance, or who are choosing not to use their insurance to pay for services, have the right to a "Good Faith Estimate." For more on this, please click on the link below.
Payment
I accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards as forms of payment.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel no later than 48 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged a $50 fee for that missed session.
