As a therapist, I am rewarded by helping people realize their full potential. As part of that process, I take the time to develop a solid connection with my clients to ensure I fully understand their concerns and goals, and I work collaboratively with them to develop a course of treatment that works for them.
I have 20+ years in practice providing treatment to military-affiliated clients and civilians. I have treated active duty service members, national guard and reserve troops, and veterans from many service eras, from Korea and Vietnam, to pre and post-9/11, and their families. As such, I have a thorough understanding of military culture and the challenges (and benefits) associated with living a military life. I have also treated civilians from various socioeconomic, cultural, and spiritual backgrounds and I have in-depth experience, and interest in, working with clients from the Hispanic and Latinx communities.
I provide treatment to both men and women ages 18+ and I treat a wide array of disorders, focusing primarily on: Anxiety Disorders (GAD, phobias, Panic Disorder), Trauma-and Stressor-Related Disorders (PTSD, Acute Stress Disorder, Adjustment Disorder), Mood Disorders (Major Depression, Persistent Depressive Disorder, & Bipolar I & II), Grief & Loss, Chronic Illness, and work-life related concerns.
